Assistant Finance Manager
About the Role
The Assistant Finance Manager supports day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with financial standards. The role plays a key part in strengthening financial controls and supporting management decision-making within a manufacturing-focused business.
Responsibilities
- Manage core financial and accounting operations across banking, reporting, and cash flow activities
- Support preparation and review of financial reports in line with IFRS requirements
- Oversee customer credit assessment and credit risk monitoring
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
- Support the use and optimization of financial systems, including ERP platforms
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthen financial controls
- Guide and support junior finance team members as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CA, or ACCA are an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in financial and accounting operations
- Experience in a manufacturing or project-based environment is preferred
