General Helper

About the Role

The General Helper supports the operations team by preparing worksites, transporting materials, and assisting with the assembly and installation of components. This role ensures all tools, equipment, and machinery are properly handled and the work area remains clean, organized, and safe throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare site equipment, materials, and tools for daily operations.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely.
  • Assist with the operation of basic machinery and heavy equipment when required.
  • Remove debris, waste, and hazardous materials from the worksite.
  • Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, barricades, and scaffolding.
  • Support the team leader in executing site tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite at all times.
  • Follow all company HSE policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications

  • No formal education required; a high school diploma is preferred.
  • Familiarity with manual and power tools.
  • Basic understanding of engineering or construction principles is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules.

Experience

No prior experience required, though 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
